Fifi's Notes

Hi Everyone

It is the start of a new challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage

The theme for the next fortnight is Things with Wings.  Please come on over and play along with us.  We have some fabulous sponsors for this challenge so that means great prizes!

I got to work with an image from Ppinkdollsart called Fifi and I coloured her with ProMarkers.

For my DT Inspiration Project I made a notebook for a friend who is a huge fan of these images.

I cut the covers in 2mm Board and covered them with a Bazzill Basics Romance Shade and the patterned card is from my stash.  To the front cover I added some Pearl Trim.  I used Memory Box Dies to cut the butterfly and a Memory Box Alphabet Die to cut the "NOTES"  I added a silver friend heart charm to the top hinge.  There are 20 Lined Pages inside.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today and share this notebook with me.  I love making these books!  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

We have some great sponsors and I got to work with one of the images called Gabbie Summer Sweetheart from Faery Ink which I coloured with ProMarkers.

Hi Everyone

Today sees the start of a new challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage

The theme for the next fortnight is For the Men/Boys.  Please come on over and play along with us.  We have great Sponsors for this challenge so that means Great Prizes

One of those sponsors is Rick St Dennis  and I used an image called Smilin Joe Skull with Roses which I coloured using ProMarkers.

These are the details for my DT card.

The Card is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Blackbird Shade.  The Patterned Papers are from my stash.  I created a Playing card to go with the image and typed the Husband sentiment up on the PC as I had no stamp suitable! The Happy Anniversary sentiment is from Stampingalllday.  To finish I added Black Pearl Gems.

Doobaboo Discovery!

Hi Everyone

It is the start of a new challenge over at Dragonfly Dreams

The theme for this month is More Than One Fold.  Please come and play along with us and also check out what the DT made for your inspiration.

The DT were given a choice of images to work with from our sponsor who is The Paper Shelter.  I chose to work with this cute image called Make a Wish.  I coloured her using ProMarkers and a Glitter Gelly Roll Pen and then cut the image out using a Spellbinders Decorative Die.
For my card I got really excited as I have just discovered the world of Dutch Doobabdoo and I was waiting for an excuse to use one of the templates that I bought.  So here it is.  I was worried about all the manual cutting and was asking halfway through why these couldn't be done as dies and make life easier but I have to admit I enjoyed it and am really pleased with how it turned out!

The Base Layer is a Bazzill Basics and I dressed this up with LOTV Patterned Papers.  I used a Marianne Craftables Die to cut the flourishes and then popped on some Paper Flowers.  I used a White Flower Lace Trim to decorate the smallest panels and added Pink Pearl Gems to the centres of the flowers.  I used a Memory Box Die to cut the Butterflies and to finish I added a Pink Satin Bow.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I have bought several other Dutch Doobado Templates and can't wait to make some cards up using them.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.
