Doobaboo Discovery!

Hi Everyone

It is the start of a new challenge over at Dragonfly Dreams

The theme for this month is More Than One Fold.  Please come and play along with us and also check out what the DT made for your inspiration.

The DT were given a choice of images to work with from our sponsor who is The Paper Shelter.  I chose to work with this cute image called Make a Wish.  I coloured her using ProMarkers and a Glitter Gelly Roll Pen and then cut the image out using a Spellbinders Decorative Die.
For my card I got really excited as I have just discovered the world of Dutch Doobabdoo and I was waiting for an excuse to use one of the templates that I bought.  So here it is.  I was worried about all the manual cutting and was asking halfway through why these couldn't be done as dies and make life easier but I have to admit I enjoyed it and am really pleased with how it turned out!

The Base Layer is a Bazzill Basics and I dressed this up with LOTV Patterned Papers.  I used a Marianne Craftables Die to cut the flourishes and then popped on some Paper Flowers.  I used a White Flower Lace Trim to decorate the smallest panels and added Pink Pearl Gems to the centres of the flowers.  I used a Memory Box Die to cut the Butterflies and to finish I added a Pink Satin Bow.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I have bought several other Dutch Doobado Templates and can't wait to make some cards up using them.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.
