Monochrome Fairy Fae

Hi Everyone

It's time for a new challenge over at Craft Rocket Challenges.

The theme for the next fortnight is Monochrome.  Would be lovely to see your Monochrome Creations and also come and check out what the talented design team have made for your inspiration.

For my DT card I used an image from Artidoodles called Fairy Fae.  I coloured her using ProMarkers.  The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Blue Adorable Scorable.  The Blue Spotty Paper is from a LOTV Paper Pack.  I popped a doily under the image and added Paper Flowers.  I used a Blue Satin Ribbon and made a Flat Bow.  To finish I added Blue Pearl Gems, Blue Polka Dot Buttons and a Clear Blue Gem Flower.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today and share this card with me.  I hope you like it.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

WOW Wolves

Hi Everyone

Today sees the start of a new Challenge at Creative Craft Cottage

The theme for the next fortnight is Include an Animal.  We have some great sponsors for this challenge and one of them is Artidoodles.  The DT were kindly given a choice of images to work with and I chose to work with this one called Lycaonia and I coloured her with ProMarkers and a Clear Star Gelly Roll Glitter Pen.

I decided that with the wolves and her furry cloak this was kind of a wintry scene so I decided to make a White on White card.  The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a White Gold Dust Card and I then mounted White Swiss Dots card onto this.  I cut the image and the layer out using my Spellbinders Grand Oval Dies.  I cut it on an angle so that there wasn't too much white around the image!  I used several other dies too which are, Robert Addams Poinsettia and Snowflake dies and also Memory Box Frosty Border.  To finish I added White Pearl Gems and some Clear Rhinestone Flowers.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Busy Busy Finally!!!

Good Morning

It has been lovely for the last couple of days here, today it's back to the same old rain!!!

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

I had so much fun making this card and I hope to be able to make a few more "Busy" ones.  Thank you for taking the time to stop by and share this card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Flower Power

Hi Everyone

Its time for a new challenge over at Craft Rocket Challenges.

The theme for the next two weeks is Flower Power.  Please come on over and join in with and check out what the talented DT have made for your inspiration.

For my DT Card I have made an 80th Birthday Card.  The Card had to be bright as the recipient does not have very good eyesight.  I think this is quite bright lol!

The Image is from Imagine That and is called Bouquet For...  You get a choice and I went for the friend one.  I coloured it using ProMarkers.

The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics.  The Patterned Paper is from Scrap and Craft.  I used a Spellbinders Large Oval Die to cut the Image out and a larger one to mat it on.  The Sentiment is from Stampingallday.  I added a Green Satin Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow.  I used a Memory Box Butterfly Die to cut the Butterfly, added Paper flowers and then finished with Pearl Gems.

Wonderful Day Tilda

Hi Everyone

Today I would like to share a card with you I made. Its CAS Style.   Usually my CAS Cards have at least one lot of layering on them so this is the first time I would say that I have created a "True" CAS card.  It has no layers and no embellishments.  (Very hard for me lol!)  The Image is called Tilda with Two Rosettes and I coloured it with ProMarkers.  Both the Sentiments are from Stampingallday.  The Card Blank is a 6" Square.  And that is all I have to say about it lol!

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Thank you for taking the time to share this card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Sugar Skull Beauty

Hi Everyone,

We have arrived.  The New Challenge Blog is up and running and do we have some fabulous DT Inspiration for you.  The team has done a fantastic job, you really need to check out their projects.

The Theme is always Anything Goes but this is not a cutesy blog its for the Darker, Sexier Images that don't get the same coverage as the cutesy ones.  Saying that we will allow cute but it must be cute dark such as Witches, Vampires etc.  Strictly no cute bunnies allowed (unless they are Vampire Bunnies lol)

Please come on over and join in with us, we are really looking forward to seeing your entries and visiting your blogs.

We have a wonderful sponsor for this first challenge and an equally wonderful prize.

Thank you to K J Arting for their sponsorship of our first challenge and for letting us create with your images.
The Image I chose to work with is called  Sugar Skull Day of the Dead Dia De Los Muertos (034) and I coloured it using ProMarkers.  I had such fun with this image.

The Card Blank is a 7" Square and My Base/Frame layer is a Blackbird Bazzill Basics Card.  I added a layer of white in between two black so that I was more in keeping with the Patterned Paper.  This is from the Black Charm Paper Pad.  I used my Go Kreate Large Circle Die to cut the image and also the layer I mounted it on.  The sentiment is from Stampingallday.  To finish I added Red Paper Roses and some Purple Pearl Gems.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

The theme for this month is Spotty Dotty.  Please come and join in with us and also take a look at what the talented team have made for your inspiration.

For my DT Card I made a Birthday Card for my Son who is turning four.  Time flies!!!  He is Dragon, Dinosaur and Train mad so Its quite easy to find an image to suit him.  For this card I used an image from Bugaboo called Clyde - Birthday and coloured it with ProMarkers.  The Card is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Green Shade.  The Polka Dot card is from my stash.  The Happy Birthday Sentiment came with the Image and the Son one is from Stampingallday.  I found some Red and Green Polka Dot Buttons in my Embellishment Box so that was a bonus and added them to finish.

Topsy Turvey with Fabrika!

Hi Everyone

Well now if you are familiar with the contests in the Fabrika Fantasy Facebook Group you will now that they are usually quite a challenge.  This time however Dmitry has topped them all and he would like you to transform one or more of his gorgeous digi images into a Zodiac Sign.

Yep you got it!  Can you take on the challenge?  Perhaps Make a Gemini of the Dancing Squirrel or tip the scales and make Happy Mouse a Libra.  The team and I cannot wait to see what you create for this one.  Me?????  I duplicated the Flying Pegasus, turned one upside down and replicated the sign for Pisces!!!  I did have fun with this lol

Flying Pegasus is the freebie image for this contest so don't miss out on this beauty, come on over and join in.

I actually coloured this image using Pencils, yes I know it is hard to believe that I gave my ProMarkers a rest and tried something new but I did and I am happy with the result lol.  Would love to know what you think though.  Its always hard to know when you use something different.

The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame layer is a Bazzill Basics Blackbird shade.  The patterned paper is from the Black Charm Paper Pad.  I used a Cheery Lynn Fishtail Banner die to cut the banners and then added some black and white stripey buttons to them.  I finished by adding Black Pearl Gems.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and share this card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.
