Debut Post with Santa!

Hi Everyone

Here I am taking part in my first challenge as DT member with A Gem of a Challenge

I am so so pleased to be on this lovely team.

The challenge is fortnightly and the theme for the next two weeks is Embossing (Wet or Dry)

Now as my regulars will know Embossing is not my strong point but I give it a go every now and then lol!

I decided to make a Santa's Key Tag.  The image is called Santa and I have coloured him using ProMarkers and Diamond Sparkles Glitter.  I cut the tag shapes using a Go Kreate Die.  The Santa's Magic Key words is a stamp from Stampingallday and I have heat embossed this using Red Embossing Powder from WOW!  I used a Cottage Cutz die to cut the holly.  I have attached the Key Charm using a Red Ribbon and tied it on with a bow.  I typed the poem on the laptop and printed out and then cut with the Go Kreate die.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and share this with me today.  Please come on over and join in with this challenge and see what the other ladies on the DT have made to inspire you.  Hope to see you again soon.

Nervous Yellows!

Hi Everyone

I had the urge to colour up something that needed  alot of concentration and wasn't too easy!  I get these urges all of a sudden as if my brain needs a workout so I always go for an Aurora Wings Image to sort this out.  I actually printed off two different ones but my Daughter decided she needed me to colour this one first.  I thought I would ask her what colour I should do it in thinking she would go with her usual Pink or Purples but no, she said YELLOW!  Aaaahhhh OMG I am so not good with yellow in large amounts but hey I asked for a challenge lol!  So here it is.

The image is called Flower Ballerina and I have coloured her with Copics.  I have to admit I struggled with the hair as there are no defined lines for it and I had to guess where it was and how to colour it.

I mounted this onto a 8" Card with Bazzill Layers in Yellow and Brown.  The Image is definitely the focal point of this card.

I would like to enter this Card into the following Challenges

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and share this card with me today.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Fairy Door

Hi Everyone

It is my second challenge as Guest Designer at The Crazy Challenge

The theme for this challenge is Leafy Green.  You must use Green Leaves in your project.

For my GD project I made a Fairy Door for my Daughter.  I used an image from Pink Gem Designs called Fairy Chloe which I coloured using Copics and then fussy cut.  The Fairy Door, toadstool and sign are also coloured using Copics and a Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.. I cut some Green Leaves using a leaf die.

I had great fun making this door and my Daughter thinks its great.

Cinderella Covers

Hi Everyone

It is the start of a new challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage today.

The theme for the next fortnight is Fantasy/Fairies.  We would love for you to come on over and play along with us with this fun theme.

We have a fabulous sponsor.  Polkadoodles are offering 3 digi images as a prize to the winner.

For my DT project I was asked by a friend to make some ScrapBook Covers.  She wants to create the inner pages herself but wanted me to create the covers.  So here is the front cover.  The back cover is the same without the image.

The image is called Cinders with Mice and Slippers and I have coloured this with Copics and Diamond Sparkles Glitter.  I cut the image using a Go Kreate Circle die and layered thiis onto a Scalloped Circle which I cut using a Spellbinders Grand Die.  I used a Tattered Lace Flourish Die and decorated these with Paper Flowers.  I added a Pink Satin Bow and Pink Pearl Gems.

I would like to enter this project into the following Challenges

Good Luck in Pink!

Hi Everyone

I would like to share this Good Luck card that I have made for my Hairdresser who is expecting a Little Girl in July.  I gave her this card this morning and she was thrilled lol!

I have a couple of friends and my Son's Teacher who are all pregnant at the moment so you might well see a few more of these cards on my blog before they have their babies lol!

I hunted around the Digi Stores for pregnant images and this was my favourite.  It is from Pink Gem Designs and is called Yummy Mummy Emma.  You can get it as this digi stamp or they do a couple of precoloured versions/toppers.  I prefer to colour them myself so I can choose my colours lol!  I coloured this using Copics.

The card is a 7" Square and the patterned paper is from LOTV.  I used a Die Cut Banner and and added alphabet peel offs to read GIRL.  The Good Luck is hand stamped and is from Stampingallday.  I added lace daisy trim, some Paper Flowers and Pink Flower Pearl Gems.

Thank you for visiting my blog and sharing this card with me today.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Little Mermaid

Hi Everyone

It is the start of a new challenge over at Craft Rocket Challenges

This challenge blog has changed from a fortnightly to a monthly blog.  The theme for the month of April is Inspired by a Movie or Book.

I love this theme.  I have made a Notebook using an image from Conie Fong called Liliana Mermaid.  I coloured the image using ProMarkers and Copics.  I got both these images one is with a waterlily and one is without it.  I have used the one with the waterlily for this notebook.

The size of this notebook is A5.  The Green coloured paper is a digital paper with water droplets on it.  I used Paper Flowers and String Pearls to decorate this notebook.  The NOTES letters were cut using a Memory Box Alphabet Die.  I finished by adding Pearl and Clear Flower Gems.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today and share this notebook with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  We would love it if you would come on over and join in with this months challenge.  Hope to see you again soon.
